In 2020, the McCracken Historical Museum constructed a new addition to permanently house the Paper Moon Movie and the McCracken Business Collections.
The McCracken Historical Museum was established in 2001, and is housed in the original McCracken Jail Building. The jail was built in 1901 and fell into disrepair .
Thankfully it was refurbished and converted into a museum by Ben and Nancy Anderson.
The organ in the museum is from E.U.B Church in McCracken. Ben and Nancy Anderson purchased the organ and it was the first donated item to the museum. Both the museum restoration and the E.U.B organ were donated in memory of Ben's grandparents, Ben and Cora Anderson.
Two originals jails cells still remain.
